Please do not alter the do not call list. I was pleased when I was finally free of such calls. I do not wish for the calls to begin again. To put the ownership back on the company to remove names from the list is going backwards. What if a company chooses not to abide by the homeowners wish? What recourse does a homeowner have? It is like saying that a person no longer has the right to allow certain people in their home. I pay for the phone service. Also, the need to go back to the system to have to ask individually each organization or business to quit calling is a major waste of my time. We as a group spoke loudly of our desire to have such a list (when the list was put out large numbers of individuals quickly signed up). We have spoken and greatly appreciated the change now I fear with your proposed changes may alter my life and home will once again be invaded by such call I as a disabled individual feel strongly about this. It is not always easy to get to the phone and when I make the effort to answer the phone I do not desire it to be companys advertising. I hope you will realize the individuals that pay for the phone service have spoken in mass and not alter the no call list in such a way that companys will once again be able to invade our home.
