The 'Do Not Call' list was created so people who did not want to be bothered by telemarketers could get them to stop calling. No calls, period, for anything from anyone trying to sell something over the phone. And tens of millions of people signed up. That should tell you something. Dont call us, we'll call you if we want or need anything. So why in the world would someone govening the list do ANYTHING to set that backwards. What's the point of having a list and then creating loopholes for telemarketers to continue calling. When is enough enough. This is like trying to teach a child discipline but never punishing them when they do wrong. It just isn't going to happen. As long as you give telemarketers room to manuver, they will continue to call and irritate consumers like me, who in turn will be irritated at government agency's like you for not doing the job that most consumers have already indicated they want done, enforce the basic rule of the 'Do Not Call' list, don't call!!! And you wonder why people have a basic distrust of government agencies!
