I don't want any phone calls from any business unless I have contacted them and have required a phone call be returned to me. I don't want them calling on my home phone, or on my cell phone. I especially do not want pre-recorded phone calls---with these you can't even tell them to take you off their calling list. All these calls are an intrusion on my privacy and they can actually cost me because I have to pay for phone time and cell phone time. Why should a person, or even a business, have to pay the cost of someone Else (ie the telemarking company) to do Their business? Hey, why don't you make it simple and make ALL THE UNSOLICITED CALLS STOP. PERIOD. END OF DEBATE AND CONTROVERSY. Also, to put the onus back on the receiver to do this opt out crap is just one more source of stress and project for us. Next thing you know, those companies you opt out of will make you opt out oh, say, weekly, instead of permanently. It never ends. It's a racket and must simply stop. Period.
