To whom it may concern: It appears, as usual, the interests of business outweigh the lives of consumers. Except for the occasional PBA phone call, I've enjoyed a blissful year without unwanted telemarketers. These calls not only come in at dinner time, they come in early in the morning as you're getting ready for work, and late in the evening. The people have voted by having their names included on a do not call registry. The registry list numbered in the tens of thousands within the first few hours of existence and numbers in the several hundred thousand (if not more) today. How can you ignore that telemarketers have become a scourge on society. If we want to buy a product, there are commercials, websites, magazine and newspaper ads and radio ads that we can turn to. I do not need this invasion into my home. For once, let the government represent the people instead of business. Let the government defend the people instead of working for the big money lobbyists.
