It is bad enough to be bothered by telemarketers in the privacy of my home but I do not wish to spend my life talking to computers. The purchase of a telephone was not an implied contract to accept sales pitches from people or machines on products I don't care about. We need to make it more difficult for companies to pester us, not less. If I want commercials, I can turn on the TV. I also receive 25-30 Spam e-mails a day for products that could be loosly labelled pornographic and promise things that are physiologically impossible. I view a computerized telephone call as simply more spam. I don't need it.
