I HATE telemarketing calls...... I am soooooo fed up that I REFUSE to speak to them when they make it thru your DO NOT CALL LIST - and when I get any kind of Automation, I immediately hang up.....Do you have any idea HOW annoying it is to get 5 telemarketing calls to every 1 personal call even when I am on your DO NOT CALL LIST?.....I have disconnected my answering machine and my blood pressure goes thru the roof when I have to deal with UNSOLICITED CALLS.......I cannot reach some of my friends without GREAT hassle because they have changed their phone number and made it unlisted ALL because of this MASS HARASSMENT.....How in the hell can you continue to allow this - I used to think that those who changed their number and made it unlisted were a little extreme, but after all of the harassing, unnecessary calls that I get, I find myself considering it as well - YOU WILL NOT PROTECT MY PRIVACY AND RIGHT TO HAVE A PEACEFUL EXISTANCE WITHIN THE WALLS OF MY HOUSE - so I am finding myself always in a state of HATE and MISERY whenever that damn phone rings.....Is that right? Should strangers be allowed to HARASS me within the walls of my house?........It is like walking down the streets of Mexico and having vendors try and get you to buy something every 5 minutes - you want to just punch them and say GET OUT OF MY FACE - LET ME BREATHE - I DONT WANT YOU THERE - LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE........AS AN AMERICAN, I HAVE RIGHTS and MY RIGHTS SHOULD STATE IF I DESIRE IT ....."STAY OUT OF MY HOUSE".......and if you allow, these calls to continue, I believe that each and every one on the board, should publish their personal home phone numbers for all the world to KNOW and call whenever we feel the need - or we could just call you, whenever it is that we get harassed and see if you like it - lets say, we can call when you are trying to get your 5 year old ready for school in the morning or when you are in the middle of helping your elderly father with a bath or making love to your spouse or spending some greatly needed family time with your teenager.........I think that it is an atrocity to even consider allowing COMPUTERS to call homes at an exponential rate to bombard homes with unsolicited, undesired and greatly unappreciated harassment.........I also think that there should be a study done of telemarketers and the affects they have on the heart - what I mean by that is people who answer their personal phone in their personal home and increase their level of hypertension, blood pressure and the like due to the constant bombardment of calls and eventually end in stroke or heart failure because they just cannot take it any longer - I do not have a heart condition and I can FEEL my blood boil when I get a telemarketing call - I've even been thinking of getting one of those football game air horns to welcome the telemarketer into my home when they call - with enough of them going def, maybe they will get the hint that we dont like it and would do anything to make it just as annoying back........I know that this letter is full of sarcasm - you people just DON'T UNDERSTAND THE LEVEL OF STRESS THIS HAS CAUSED THE AMERICAN PUBLIC - we have to lie our phone number when we go to Outdoor World or Sports Authority to buy something so that we do not get any more calls than we do already.........PLEASE ......PLEASE ........PLEASE ........PLEASE STOP THIS HARRASSMENT......... IT HAS TO BE DONE ON A GOVERNMENT LEVEL or companies will continue to abuse and harass the American Public........ and anyone who welcomes these calls and wants reminders and opportunities to buy stuff, should not subscribe to the DO NOT CALL LIST .......... but if your number is on that list, LEAVE US ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
