This is in reference to: Prerecorded Message EBR, Telemarketing Project No. R411001. I signed up for the Do Not Call Registry because I do not want to get telemarketing calls of any kind, whether they are from a live human or in the form of a pre-recorded message. Either way, unsolicited calls from telemarketers, even from those companies with whom I have done business, are an annoyance to me. Please do not amend your policy regarding the use of a person vs. a pre-recorded message. If there is a concern that the FTC and the FCC have conflicting policies regarding this point, then the FCC should amend its policy to the more restrictive one of the FTC.
