|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I signed up for the Do Not Call List for the simple reason that I don't want to be called by anybody. Not just calls that have to do with businesses that I have not delt with in the past. I have an unlisted number for this very reason. If this rule goes through what will stop these companies from making all calls automated? Will there be a way to stop these calls as well? I don't want to be called no matter what time it is. Dinner time is the only time for most families to talk and have a family time. I really think that calls from other contries are the worst calls to get any time. It is hard enough to understand them and then add in the background noise makes it even worce. If this bill does pass than I see myself turning off my phone completely. As many people might feel the same way I do what impact will this have on the phone companies and there employes? There are greater issues here other than the impact this list has had on the telemarketing companies this is the reason that the list was made people dont want to be bothered.
