Please do not expand automated telemarketing.......... The automated political messages were really irksome. Thank heavens elections happen only occasionally!........... The automated messages are extremely irritating because there is no way to communicate with the caller. You cannot ask him anything, even to remove you from the list that resulted in the call!.......... Cell phone users must pay (at least the first minute) to receive these irksome messages!.......... Abuse of the established business relationship exemption causes citizens to avoid any kind of advertising response or commercial purchase that might result in the interpretation of an established relationship. Thus, commercial harm results that may exceed the benefit to this petitioner. To a degree, we citizens become intimidated against participating in normal business commerce to avoid the telemarketing consequence............ I oppose the 30-day averaging change because it can result in an increased call-volume intensity. It is the intensity that is particularly objectionable--just remember the November election!
