THe do not call registery is an important tool in stopping unwanted calls to my home. I do not feel that I need to be solicited by a telemarketer. If I want to purchase a product or service I will research that item through all the various resources available to me and make that decision based on what is best for my needs. This is especially true if I am already a customer of a business. I do not need them to call and resolicit me. If they were a good compay, I will use them again. If they were not, then no amount of calling will make me use their services. As for pre-recorded telemarketing calls, they are more annoying than live operators. I just hang up immediately and do not waste any time listening to them. THe do not call registery should remain intact and the FCC and FTC should do a better job of coming to terms on what the consumers want.
