Telephones that are paid for by individual customers should not be used for telemarketing purposes. If this is allowed then every individual corporate or other business telephone in this country should be opened for telemarketing purposes also. I currently receive in excess of 30 telemarketing calls daily regardless of any "do-not-call" listing. I guess that the special interest and PAC groups have enough money to buy off both elected and non-elected government officials so that our only recourse is to do away with any telecommunications devices whether they are mobile or hard wired. Typically, If I want information, I will seek it out without being harrased by telemarketers.
