To whom it may concern: Regarding the possibility that the DNC list may be amended to allow prerecorded sales calls to be exempt from any existing DNC legislation: YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. Can you possibly be that boneheaded? Is the money you are receiving from these businesses so completely blinding you to the will of the public? Are you the only ones NOT laughing at the ludicrous and asinine comments from Mr. Crowe, who wouldn't know a straight answer if it hit him in the head with a phone booth? Prerecorded messages are WORSE than a live telemarketer, overseas or not. You cannot hang up on them; they hog the phone line even when a hangup is attempted... a truly alarming event. You cannot tell them to Never Call This Number Again; you have to spend time, phone calls and bureaucractic nonsense to stop them. (Crowe, grow up!) There is no satisfaction in ruining their moment of time just as they have ruined yours by telling them you are NOT INTERESTED, EVER, EVER, EVER. Please stop this madness. This has got to be the most stupid non-Iraq, non-election related political maneuver I've read about in a very long time.
