|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:Do not allow automated messages or telemarketing even from companies we may do business with. If I need to know something I'll call them. At the very least, require the telemarketer to provide the victim with a single key to press to remove them from the list forever, with a penalty for not doing so. I may do business with Ma Bell but just because I am a customer should not give them the freedom to annoy me with things I care nothing about and skirt the real purpose of the no-call list in the first place.
