Comments:
I am opposed to this change in the rules regarding the do not call list. I joined the do not call list to be sheltered from the endless and often rude intrusions by telemarketers into my home via phone calls. With this proposed change, my phone will now begin to ring again, not with family or friends on the other end of the line, but with a recorded message attempting to sell me some good or service I do not wish to hear about. Any change to the rules and/or regulations that enables more unwelcome calls and intrusions into my household via the phone is not desired or welcome. Please do not move forward with these changes as they will reduce the effectiveness of the good start that has been made with the do not call list as it currently stands. Thank you.
