The proposed change is ludicrous! Keep it the way it is and have the FCC change to the current ruling. Obviously you folks don't get too many telemarketing calls. Maybe if all telemarketing call, both live and pre-recorded messages had to pass through an FCC and FTC switch board prior to beseiging the beleagured consumer, unwanted calls would cease. Fully 80% of the calls I recieve on my home phone are unsolicited calls, which I won't answer. Unfortunately I pay $8.00/month for the privilige of identifying unknown callers. Why? It shouldn't have to be that way. Then new rules being propose will make it even more aggravating. Do your job! Respectfully, Howard S. Lincoln Burke, VA
