I'm currently on the do not call list as I pay for my phone for MY use, not for the benefit of businesses out there and they have no right to use a device I pay for to make money. WIth that said, I am against the use of computerized telemarketing. Before I joined the registry, I would get calls all the time, waking me or my baby from a nap, and they would be from a computer. The computer would call multiple people at once and if I wasn't the first to pick up, then there would be no one on the line. I would've been disturbed from my activities or my children awaken for absolutely NO reason. I also believe there should be legislation stating the telemarketers can only call during regular business hours of Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM only. I can't tell you the number of calls I received at 9:00-10:00 PM and/or on Saturdays and Sundays. These are the main reasons I joined the registry. I appreciate the registry and I appreciate you listening to my opinion and taking it to heart. Sincerely, Samantha Kwasigroh
