I am a subscriber to the "Do Not Call" list and I do not want telemarkerters to call me for any reason. The telemarkerter calls border on harassment when they call my house. Sometimes, before the list, I would receive 10 - 12 calls from telemarkerters daily. I DO NOT WANT THEM TO CALL ME PERIOD!!!!!! If I want to do business with a company, I will call them! I do not want the harassing phone calls and wish the "do not call list" to remain as it is without changes to the rules. If the telemarkerters want to pay my monthly phone bill, then they can call me. I pay for "unlisted phone service" so I won't be bugged by these telemarkerters. Please DO NOT CHANGE THE LAWS! I enjoy the peace without telemarkerters. What PAC pushing this? Who would benefit from the rule change? Certianly not the average Joe. I bet the rules as they are now have stopped quite a bit of sneeky telemarkerters from victimizing the elderly too. Why would anybody (other than telemarkerters) want to change the rules? Only someone who is in bed with the telemarkerters would benefit from the rule change and that is not the average consumer. I cannot stress how distasteful telemarkerters are. My views are shared with just about everybody I know. We all enjoy the peace without telemarkerters. DO NOT CHANGE THE LAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
