Please do not weaken the regulations for the do not call list. I would be very disturbed if an automated message or a real person continued to call my phone with the intention of commerace without a specific request from myself or one of my family. (AND I do not consider a contact or purchase over a year old to warrent any company to contact me by Automated messages. 30 days is even a stretch for me. This would be considered a severe breech of trust in any relationship where I had done business with a firm or company and they resorted to such tactics.). My family signed up with 'the do not call list' to avoid such companies. The disturbance to home life and the distress caused by telemarketers pretending to know someone personally in my home has made us very distrustful of all attempts to contact my family by phone. Let them use the US Mail. Thank you for your time and consideration. Mr. K. Farwell P.S. And how is the war against SPAM on the internet going?
