I am opposed to any weakening of the current Do-No-Call standards and am in fact in favor of strengthening them. Our household continues to receive unsolicited calls from organizations we have never done business with directly or made any inquires of, ever. The Do-Not Call standard to-date has only minimally impacted the number of unsolicited calls our household receives from the never ending torrent of telemarketing terrorists. Telemarketing is an unjustifiable intrusion of personal privacy conducted by Godless greedy entrepreneurs. It has no redeeming value, wastes irrecoverable amounts of the precious time we have in our lives, drains resources which would be better used to advance our great nation through education and other society advancing programs. It must be stopped at all costs for the sake of this and future generations both here and abroad. Our nations human resources must not be squandered on “careers” in telemarketing nor should this deceptive and intrusive industry be allowed to off-shore its operations to other nations for the same morally depraved exploitation of their human resources; and where the wealth generated by telemarketing in those countries may be directed to fund activities against the United States. I ask you to take a strong stand for personal privacy, to consider the principles upon which our great country was founded, and to make it as difficult as possible (preferably impossible )for telemarketers to do business in the United States, perhaps then they will use their resources for good instead of telemarketing.
