Please do not allow automated or prerecorded messages to be used on the telephone. A similar rule regarding such messages should also be applied to the internet. These messages are very time consumming and annoying to the private citizen and to businesses that receive them. They cause major disruption at very inconvenient times and are a major invasion of the private time and resources of a very large group of people. To allow the proposed change is to effectively remove the safegards provided by the 'No-Call' list now in effect. A benefit for the few who use this system is not an excuse to cause extreme numbers of people to have their privacy invaded on their own time, in their own homes or offices. I urge you to keep the 'No-Call' list as it is and not change the rule to allow it to be bypassed to an extent greater than allowed by the original regulation. I also urge you to consider a similar regulation of e-mail messages. I have received as many as 200 in a single day and found less than 10 that were beneficial. I also get repeated messages as faxes where the advertiser is using my printer, paper and ink to print out unsolicited advertisement in my home and office at my expense. I receive a few of these a day and have not had a single one that was of interest. Neither the telephone nor the internet system should be invaded by marketers for their own private benefit at the expense of major disruption of the systems for very large numbers of users. Even if you can't ban such practices, please do not take away my right to refuse to receive the results in my own home or office. Thanks, Marv Kaylor
