Comments:When I came to Debt Regret I had been struggling with my debt situation for years. I tried consumer credit counseling, I’ve tried a number of debt reduction programs which have all seemed to make things worse. Bankruptcy has never been been an option because I never would be able to afford to pay back everything, especially once my interest rates rose over 25% simply because I carried high balances, not because I was late. Since I joined the program with Debt Regret, my “forced” savings that they keep from me has been growing quicker than anything I was able to do on my own. As well, in under 2 years I have already been able to settle with 2 companies for under 35% of the original debt. Their staff has been an asset to me, beyond anything I could have ever expected. They explain everything (both the positive and negative aspects) about the program, even down to how it will effect me in the near future. By having them “on my side” I have been given freedom to focus on my savings plan and keep my income steady, without interruptions. I would prefer to not see the FTC get involved with settlement programs, as it really seems to be working better than anything I have ever experienced. Debt Regret has provided a valuable benefit to me in my time of need.
