I had about $36,000 in unsecured debt I had to change jobs and took a $20,000 a year pay cut. I considered debt consolidation and bankruptcy. I found Debt Regret on the internet and called them. They helped me set up a program that had a payment I could afford. We have settled two of my accounts so far for less than what I owed them. When they got these settlements I had three people from Debt Regret helping me get this done. The first one I didn't have the total payment the creditor was requesting, so one of my representatives from Debt Regret negotiated a two month payment plan. They are very helpful people. Please don't change the regulation so that companies like Debt Regret will have to close. I don't know how I would people to get out of debt without filing for bankruptcy.
