Comments:I had been struggling with mounting debt in the face of a divorce when I gave up trying to make any payments at all to any of my accounts. I considered bankruptcy due to the fact that I had $15,000 in credit card debt, 2 vehicle loans, a mortgage and a low paying job. Financial Resolutions gave me the option to work with my financial situation and come up with a strategy to eliminate the debt and live within my means. I have one credit card left to settle, only have 1 car loan and am living within a budget. I am currently trying to restore my credit rating which I couldn't have done with a bankruptcy. The help I received from the employees at Financial Resolutions was phenomenal. The education about my rights as a consumer, and how to handle money and credit were the most helpful. If it weren't for the assistance of a company like Financial Resolutions, the lender probably would have foreclosed on my house and I would have lost both of my vehicles. I was able to pay a portion of my debt and live within my means. Please don't take this option away from the consumer.
