I am a cellphone user. I would say that I receive five to ten unwanted automated messages per week. I have to pay for the airtime! whether at home or on the road, there was once a time I could at least tell a live person how I feel about being badgered. maybe people can be cold, but machines are relentless. a person has a right to privacy. imagine having sales people at your door all day. no one would tolerate this. and being required to give every salesman who comes to your door a document requiring him to stay away would also be a nightmare. it only makes sense that the individual be protected. citizens shold not be required to beg for this freedom by opting out. now, because of the phone and the computer, the potential for continuous harrasment is amazing. shouldnt the above protections of the individual apply all the more? thank you
