As a private citizen, I fully support the proposed FTC limits on automated telemarketing. It is my personal belief that all forms of telemarketing are an invasion of privacy and I often feel helpless to limit my exposure. I also must state that I possess both an BS and MS in Computer Science from accredited domestic universities and have actually taken coursework on VoiceXML, which is often used in automated phone applications. It is my educated opinion that automated telemarketing is extremely inexpensive and easy to implement, so it is just and good that the FTC would limit its use. Thank you.
