I consult frequently with customers who are greatly annoyed by telemarketing calls of any kind coming to their homes and disturbing their peace and privacy. I support changes to the TSR prohibiting unsolicited prerecorded telemarketing calls answered by a consumer without the consumer’s prior written agreement and the second proposal amending the prescribed method for measuring the maximum allowable call abandonment rate in the TSR’s existing safe harbor provision.
