I am opposed to any rule that allows for prerecorded messages to be sent to my telephone answering machine for the purpose of marketing goods and services whether or not I am a previous customer of the company responsible for the call. I consider my telephones and answering to be my property as I have bought and paid for them. Any use of them by companies for unsolicited marketing, including prerecorded messages, I consider to be an unauthorized use of my property and akin to trespass.
