Dear FTC: Don’t change the rules. Pre-recorded messages are not a problem with consumers. They certainly beat live calls from pushy salespeople. Also, changing the rules will only push telemarketers overseas. They will still send pre-recorded messages from India or Pakistan, and then more U.S. jobs will disappear. Don’t let this happen.
