Dear FTC: Please do not prohibit pre-recorded messages. The Federal and State DNC lists are more than sufficient to prohibit unsolicited telemarketing. The fact that I haven’t signed on to a DNC list means I want to receive telemarketing calls. However, pre-recorded messages are much, much better than getting a call from a live person. I don’t like to be rude to people, so its much harder to hang up on someone who calls me. I have no problem hanging up on a recording. Sincerely, Suzanne Row
