Abandoned calls are a major nuisance. I quit what I am doing - go to the phone - and silence! I see no justification for that annoying business practice. Allowing companies to call that have established an "authentic business relationship" is OK provided it is an authentic relationship. If I use the internet to request information and am asked for my telephone number it is unreasonable for the company to use that to telephone me for future sales (unless of course I request a call). If the company solicits me by email in the future that is also OK.
