There is a consistent issue with the Pittsburg CVS Pharmacy in Atlantic Plaza, Pittsburg CA not having in stock the items which are displayed as being on sale in their sales fliers that are distributed with the newspaper. I have made special trips to that store on 3 occasions this year (I rarely shop there for this precise reason) looking for product that is supposed to be on special sale, only to find that they simply do not have the product in inventory, on the day that the ad comes out. It is not sold out (there is nothing on the shelves indicating that it WAS there but sold out) and they do not have it in the back (I had asked them to check.) Three times in as many special trips to that store this year. I now totally disregard ANYTHING they advertise as being a bait and switch tactic. I have discussed this with the store clerks (the manager is rarely available), have requested they phone me when the product comes in (have never received a call). The clerks are clueless, so I cannot get angry with them. But for whatever reason, this is a persistent problem.
