I'm a financial educator for the Navy working at Fleet and Family Support Center, the junior personnel in the Navy are most often ripped off when they buy a car. The changes proposed would mean even more service members ripped off by unscrupulous auto dealers. The state of VA does require registered vehicles to have a state inspection, eliminating the requirement for auto dealers would mean even more issues with the cars they sell. Allowing dealers to sell cars and not be held responsible for repairs is reprehensible. Not disclosing major defects means there will be more autos on the highways that are not safe. Used cars should have stronger restrictions than they have now!!
