Hi. Portland, ME needs a Trader Joe's. Whole Foods came in to town a few years ago, closing down a Wild Oats & local organic grocery store in the process. Whole Foods has no competition in Maine, and thus, their prices are higher than any other Whole Foods location I've been to. Please let a Trader Joe's come to Portland... we need it! The local economy needs it! We need the jobs, and Whole Foods needs the competition. Thank you! Emily Helliesen Portland ME
