Dear Mr. Ducore, I am writing to voice my support for the proposed opening of a Trader Joe's opening in Portland, Maine. With all of the health conscious, eco-friendly people living in Portland, Trader Joe's would thrive by providing a low cost alternative to Whole Foods, which currently has no competition in the organic/natural foods market. Many people I know would prefer to buy products that are more environmentally friendly, animal friendly and healthy, but simply cannot afford to shop at Whole Food's on a regular basis due to their high prices. Please take notice that there are a great number of people living in the Portland area who are eager to see a Trader Joe's open. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Megan Mansfield
