Hello, I want to add my support for the sale of the former Wild Oats site in Portland, Maine to Trader Joe's. As a former Californian, I love and miss TJ's. More importantly, there's a need for the competition that TJ's will bring to Whole Foods. We have no alternative to WF if we want to shop at a large natural foods grocery store. The neighborhood could also use a boost. Wild Oats has been closed for a few years, and while the immediate neighborhood has grown, and development of fornerly vacant lots and empty buildings has occurred, WO's departure has left a hole.
