Dear Mr. Libby, I'm writing to request that A-M holdings be allowed to purchase the Broadway Whole Foods Market store to again make it an Alfalfa's Market. The original Alfalfa's Market was one of the first natural/organic foods stores in the nation, and it is a Boulder staple. It adds character to our community, and its special place in our history is undeniable. Organizations like Naturally Boulder make our city a leader in incubating entrepreneurial natural foods companies. The people behind A-M holdings, to whom our community is very loyal, have been active participants in helping these entrepreneurs to succeed. Competition is healthy, and currently Whole Foods is operating three stores within Boulder city limits without any. We want choices, and we want our heritage! Please give us Alfalfa's back by allowing A-M holdings to purchase it. Thank you. Sincerely, Kyla Duffy
