Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed sale of Alfalfa's Market intellectual property. I am supportive of the sale to A-M Holdings. I hold a Ph.D. minor in industrial organization economics and have been teaching and researching in the areas of competition, strategy, and entrepreneurship for the past 18 years. I am also familiar with some of the principals of A-M Holdings through my work as a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Enterprise. I believe that the transfer of intellectual property to A-M holdings will contribute to the development of competition within the natural and organic foods industry. To my knowledge, the principals of A-M Holdings intend to operate Alfalfa's market and compete directly within the industry. They also posses the core competencies necessary to make this effort a success, and increase the economic performance of the sector through the process of competition. The Alfalfa's Market name will help ensure their success. Thus, I believe the sale of the Alfalfa's Market intellectual property to A&M Holdings will help achieve the goal of a vibrant, competitive, and growing natural and organic foods sector. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
