HSR Review Increases Dramatically
While Resources Remain Flat

HSR transactions have doubled since 1991, growing from 1,529 to a projected 3,580, even while the number of FTE’s has declined—from 343 to a projected 330 in 1997. To keep up, staff has improved its productivity, doubling the rate of review, from 4.5 per FTE in 1991 to a projected 10.8 transactions per FTE in 1997.
