Biography
Aviv Nevo serves as the Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Economics. He is on leave from the University of Pennsylvania where he is the George A. Weiss and Lydia Bravo Weiss Penn Integrates Knowledge Professor with appointments in the Wharton School and the Department of Economics in the School of Arts and Sciences. In 2013-2014 he served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economic Analysis in the Antitrust Division in the Department of Justice. He has served as an expert witness in a variety of cases.
Dr. Nevo earned a BSc from Tel-Aviv University in Mathematics and Economics and a PhD in Economics from Harvard University.
