FTC sends refunds to people who bought Pyrex glass measuring cups
The FTC is sending 10,259 payments totaling more than $88,000 to people who bought Pyrex glass measuring cups that were imported from China.
According to the FTC, during the pandemic, Pyrex measuring cups sold on Amazon.com were advertised as made in the United States. In reality, some glass measuring cups were imported from China.
Instant Brands, the company that makes Pyrex glassware, agreed to a settlement that banned it from making false claims and required it to pay money. The FTC is now using the money to provide refunds to eligible Pyrex customers.
If you get a check, please cash it within 90 days.
