All,

It is our understanding that the estate of a deceased natural person is its own UPE and that neither the decedent nor the executors of the estate is the UPE of the estate. Please see No. 3 in the Premerger Notification Practice Manual (Fifth Edition). Please confirm that our understanding is correct.
