The Federal Trade Commission held the fifth session of its Hearings on Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century initiative, with a one-day session at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. on November 1, 2018.

This video is a recording of the presentations on the Consumer Welfare Standard; a panel discussion on The Consumer Welfare Standard in Antitrust Law (Session 2) and the closing remarks by FTC Commissioner Christine S. Wilson.

This session rescheduled the hearing session originally postponed on September 14 due to inclement weather.
