Join the Federal Trade Commission, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois, legal services attorneys and other consumer advocates, and state and federal consumer protection officials at this free event to discuss a variety of issues facing consumers today, including mortgage and foreclosure issues, scams impacting immigrants, small dollar loans and their collection, and auto financing issues. Conference participants will share experiences and challenges, make connections, and discuss how groups can better collaborate and share information and resources.

The 2014 Midwest Region Common Ground Conference will be open to invited participants. There is no fee to attend. The FTC will accept pre-registration for this conference. Pre-registration is not necessary to attend, but is encouraged so that we may better plan this event.
