Streitfeld was with the Office of the New York City Council President from 1988 - 1993, beginning as Special Counsel and ultimately serving as Chief of Staff her last three years there.
Streitfeld earned a J.D. from New York Law School in 1984, and a B.A. from Antioch College in 1975.
