A Colorado resident, who responded to an ad announcing postal jobs that didn't exist, will tell his story at a press conference to be held jointly by the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Postal Service on Thursday, January 22, 1998, at 10 a.m. The FTC and the USPS will hold the press conference to announce, "Stamp Out Job Fraud," a comprehensive new law enforcement and consumer education campaign to combat scam artists who violate federal law by falsely guaranteeing postal employment opportunities.
