Commission action regarding applications for approval:
- Following a public comment period, the Commission has approved four applications for divestiture from the following: Fidelity National Financial, Inc. The applications concern Fidelity National's divestiture of certain title plants located in California to: 1) Old Republic Title Company (Merced, Napa, Yolo and Tehama counties); and Stewart Title of California, Inc. (San Benito and San Louis Obispo counties). The divestitures arise out of Fidelity National's acquisition of Chicago Title Corporation. The FTC vote to approve the divestitures was 5-0.
