The Commission has received an application from America Online/Time Warner, Inc. (AOLTW) requesting approval of a non-affiliated Internet Service Provider (ISP) and alternative cable broadband service agreement. Pursuant to Paragraph II.A.2 of the decision and order finalized by the Commission on April 17, 2001 concerning AOL's acquisition of Time Warner, Inc., AOLTW has requested FTC approval of: 1) ShreveNet, Inc. (ShreveNet), a non-affiliated ISP; and 2) the alternative cable broadband ISP service agreement entered into between Time Warner Cable (TWC) and ShreveNet to provide ISP service in TWC's "Shreveport, LA, division."

The FTC is accepting public comments on the proposed application until July 24, 2002. Commission approval of final consent order:

Following a public comment period, the Commission has approved a final consent order in the matter concerning Solvay S.A.'s (Solvay) acquisition of Ausimont S.p.A, and has responded to the public comment received. The vote to approve the final order and respond to the commenter was 5-0. (Docket No. C-4046; staff contact is Robert S.
