FTC Releases Updated Consumer Q&As About the National Do Not Call Registry

The Federal Trade Commission released a revised version of Q&As for consumers on the National Do Not Call Registry, available at www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.htm. The Q&As cover topics such as registration instructions, privacy concerns, and how to file a complaint.

Consumers can sign up to be on the Registry by calling 1-888-382-1222 or accessing www.donotcall.gov. Consumers can delete a phone number from the registry only by calling toll-free 1-888-382-1222.
