Majoras, Leibowitz Confirmed as Federal Trade Commissioners

On Sunday, November 21, 2004, the United States Senate unanimously confirmed the nominations of Deborah Platt Majoras and Jon Leibowitz to serve as Federal Trade Commissioners. Majoras was confirmed to fill the unexpired seven year term which began Sept. 26, 2001. She will continue to serve as Chairman. Leibowitz was confirmed to serve the seven year term which began Sept. 26, 2003.
