Announced Action for September 28, 2005

Extension of public comment period: The Commission has approved the extension of the public comment period in a matter concerning whether the Platinum Section of the FTC’s Guides for the Jewelry, Precious Metals, and Pewter Industries, 16 C.F.R. Part 23, should be amended. Through this action, the comment period has been extended until October 12, 2005. The Commission vote to approve the extension of the public comment period was 4-0.
